The Craig Area, Thus Far

These are all the chew cans that we have stolen from Bro. Germond so that he can get to the temple. I think we are up to about 20 cans now.

So the Germond's made a trip over to Utah before the 4th of July so that we could have our own 4th of July. This is what they brought me back, it was pretty sweet.

This is the magnificent, extraordinary college of Craig. Now you may think it's too small to be a college, but it has about 3 to 400 kids that attend it every year.

The Germond family, yaya!

This is my companion Elder McDonal one study morning, obviously it was on Lehi's dream.

This is Forification Rock. A mountain that is on the drive from Craig to Baggs Wyoming. I can just imagine some of the battle's in the BoM taking place here and armies hiding behind this. It's a pretty sweet thing to see.

This is my 3rd Baptism, and my 1st one in Craig. His name is Levi. He's about as redneck as they come, but he's a stud.

I took a bunch of my old ties and some that I found around the appt and made a blanket out of them! It's pretty sweet.

Happy birthday to me! Sis. Germond made me brownie sundies!

Ok, ok, check it out...it's me, a mormon missionary, and this is in a Luthren church parking lot. And the white sign says "You are now entering the Mission Field." Pretty sweet huh? Too bad they don't know this is MY mission field...

17 Months Out

So I guess this is a family thing. Way to go everyone at home that is working on keeping the parents technology stable, especially since I'm out here at not there to help them out with things on the computer like how to copy and paste.

Anyway, I'll put a few pictures up here to start. These were of a child that was just adopted by this family the Germond's that my comp and I are very close to. We have been trying really hard to help them out and get ready to go to the temple. But today I was lucky enough to have the oppurtunity to give him his baby blessing. He's a cool kid, and not just because his name is Taylor too. And the tie he is wearing is one a gave to him. I've started collecting these, well as mom would probably say, ugly ties, that I find at thrift stores. I've got quite the collection and the Germond's like to give me a hard time about them and think it's really funny. So since Taylor and I already have the same names, I decied we should have the same kind of ties too.
